  • Museum of the Madeira Wine Institute

    While visiting the museum of Madeira Wine there will be able to appreciate the valuable exhibition of engravings and photography’s connected to several phases of wine production in Madeira Island, as well as the whole scale of wine-producing utensils used during several times.

     

    With this vast collection, the visitor will be able to move back up to ends of last century, while seeing the whole process of production of wine and phases of work from the pruning to the grape harvest in the traditional Madeira press to his commercialising.

     

    This museum was inaugurated to 18 of September of 1984, it is frequented by countless national and foreign tourists, as well as schools and Of Gardens-childhood.
