  • The Faial Village Webcam

        This private beach belongs to a resort hotel in Caniço, it is only accessible trough the panorama elevator with which you have to go down. It as a seawater swimming pool, a diving base, a sea access for those who prefer the Ocean, a bar service, games facilities, a children’s swimming pool, changing rooms, a lifeguard service, a medical center and the ‘Blue Flag’, besides the swimming facilities you can also find a fish restaurant, a boutique, a mini-market, some shops and a terrace café, with q great view for sunsets.
        On busy days it's not easy to find a parking place, so it's better to be the first one there.


  • Barreirinha Beach

    The Faial Village
        The Barreirinha complex, located at the east side of Funchal, offers good conditions to the visitors and it's certified by the ‘Blue Flag’. It disposes of a swimming pool for children and sea access, changing rooms, lockers, parasols, sun beds, a snack bar, a medical center, lifeguard and a car park.
        It's overlooking the pier and next to the São Tiago Fortress, the proximity makes it very convenient for a late dive before going back to the hotel.
